1. Permission to play
You may access the official Crab Canon website at https://crabcanon.games,
run the copies delivered by that website in your browser for personal,
non-commercial play and study, and retain the incidental browser copies
needed for that use. You may save, share and analyze your own game records.
You may share links to the website and unmodified screenshots of your play
with visible credit to "Crab Canon — N-Y-L" and https://crabcanon.games.

2. Other uses require permission
Except for the permission above, a component's separate license, or rights
provided by applicable law, no permission is granted to copy, redistribute,
republish, sublicense, sell, host a mirror of, or create derivative works
of this release's code, models, artwork, interface or documentation.
Attribution alone does not grant permission for these uses. Do not remove
copyright, license or attribution notices from copies permitted here.
No trademark rights or endorsement are granted.

3. Separate licenses and earlier releases
The bundled opponent package under assets/agents/ and the fonts under
assets/fonts/ retain their own licenses and notices. Their separate terms
govern those components; this license does not restrict the rights they
grant. Likewise, this license does not withdraw rights already granted
under the MIT license for copies of earlier Surface Games releases.
This license applies only to material for which the copyright holders are
entitled to grant these terms. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.

4. Scope
These terms concern copyrightable material. They do not claim ownership
of traditional games, abstract ideas, mathematical facts or game methods,
and do not limit uses permitted by law. Credit to Crab Canon and N-Y-L
is requested when discussing or building on its original game designs.
